LoveShackFancy Meet and Greet Recap
Grateful, thankful, and blessed! Those are the three words that come to mind when I look back on this past Sunday and how I got to spend it with all of YOU! My last meet and greet was such a highlight for me this past year, so I was so excited when the team at LoveShackFancy in Greenwich, Connecticut, reached out to host me and all of you again. While I was lucky enough to meet so many of you guys, I know not everyone could make it out, so I thought a blog recap would be the perfect way to share the day with the rest of you!
My day started in New York, getting ready for the big day ahead! While I wasn’t feeling my best, I put on my special Chanel eye patches and thought about all your wonderful faces that I was about to meet and instantly got moving. As this was my second meet and greet, I wasn’t as nervous as the first time, and I made sure I had everything ready the night before so I had an easy morning to get ready.
Once I finished getting ready, Will, Omari, and I headed to Grand Central Station. We took an earlier train to Greenwich so I could go into LoveShackFancy a little before the meet and greet and pick out my outfit. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by one of you waiting outside, which was the perfect way to start the day!
This post would not be complete without giving a huge thank you to the team at LoveShackFancy in Greenwich! These girls are some of the sweetest people I have ever met who have been more than gracious in welcoming our girl gang into their store. After looking through all the amazing dress options, I chose this gorgeous hot pink dress and celebrated by popping prosecco and eating the delicious treats the team had waiting for us. I mean, there was a hot pink cake (that matched my dress!) with my name on it!
After we popped the bubbly, it was time for the meet and greet to start! As I reflect back on the day, I can’t help but tear up. I met so many women and girls from all different walks of life, and it truly warmed my heart. While many of you told me how much I have inspired you, I cannot express how much you guys inspire ME! I am lucky enough to be surrounded by such a supportive group of girls who are the most amazing people I have ever met. You have welcomed me into your lives with open arms, and I am forever grateful for every single one of you.
I’ve recently opened up to you all about my mental health, and I can’t tell you how much this meet and greet rejuvenated and refreshed my mind. I will never be able to express my gratitude for this opportunity and how badly I needed this meet and greet. All of you were such a great reminder of why I do what I do, and this event was truly a Godsend for me to see the positive impact I have on all of your lives.
One of the most amazing parts about this day was Omari and Will documenting everything on my YouTube channel! Going back and watching all of the special interactions I shared with you guys brought such a smile to my face. Thank you to Will, Omari, and all of you for always supporting me. I hope you always remember to be the girl that just went for it!
