My Surgery Recovery Must Haves

If you’ve been keeping up with me on any of my socials, you know that I am currently recovering from my endometriosis surgery. I've documented the entire process on my YouTube channel, starting with my story, surgery, and now my recovery. As I've been living in the apartment over the past couple of weeks, I wanted to share all my favorite recovery products that have helped me feel better and stay entertained!

My number one necessity during my recovery has been this adorable heating pad! I love the pink design with the flowers, and it truly has relieved so much of my lower abdomen pain. With different temperature settings, you can control the heat depending on how much pain you're in. I don’t think I would have survived without this heating pad!

Being comfortable has been at the top of my priority list since I've come home from surgery. This pajama dress is not only the softest thing ever, but it's also adorable, so I can feel cute in recovery. There are so many different options to choose from, but my favorite is the pink one!

This is something that I WISH I had coming home from the hospital. These seatbelt pillows help relieve any pressure on your abdomen while driving in the car. My ride back from the hospital was a bumpy one (literally, our taxi driver was nuts). BUT this would have been great to have to make my ride back more comfortable.

Self-care is so important, especially when you're in recovery! While almost all of my focus has been on my abdomen, I didn't want to neglect other parts of my self-care routine that make me feel good. So, I've been obsessed with this LANEIGE lip balm that has kept my lips moisturized and hydrated!

When I tell you I could barely leave my bedroom at the beginning of surgery, I'm not kidding. It's been hard to keep myself entertained as there isn't much I can do, so I've been obsessed with things like this Taylor Swift puzzle. Not only does it keep me busy, but it gives me an excuse to watch The Eras Tour over and over until I finish the puzzle.

When I saw how cute this menstruation crustacean was, I knew I had to have him! Not only is it one of the most adorable things ever, but it's also a great heating pad that has helped me with my cramping. Plus, it smells like lavender, which always helps me to relax and unwind.

As someone prone to nausea, I knew I needed something post-surgery to help me. Even though I had nausea medicine, it was only administered every eight hours, which wasn't great when I got nausea spells. These nausea relief inhalers were great for the ride home from the hospital and in between my medicine.

These cloud socks are my latest obsession! They are one of the softest pairs of socks I own that make me feel so cozy when I'm lying on the couch. Comfort is so important while recovering, and your socks should be no exception!

While I have had my pink-weighted dinosaur before surgery, it has been a staple while I recover. It's perfect for those moments of anxiety and pain when you need a little something to make you feel better. My dinosaur and heating pad have been my favorite combination during this process.

When you have surgery on your lower abdomen, you need pants that are comfortable and stretchy. This three-piece set of pajama pants has been a lifesaver in making me feel comfy and at ease as my uterus heals. I love the adorable patterns they come in and how soft they are!

There is nothing better than a sweet treat, and my surgery obsession has been apple juice. It may sound silly, but I have literally been drinking so many of these little apple juice cans it isn't even funny. It's SO delicious, and it makes me feel better when I'm feeling sick or in pain.

These postpartum disposable underwear are great for the beginning of recovery. When I was bloated with gas, these were very stretchy and allowed me to be comfortable. I literally went through all of them!

I've been in a constant state of icing or warming up some part of my body during recovery. I have loved these reusable hot and cold packs that allow me to switch them out depending on what kind of care I need. It also doesn't hurt that they're pink!

No matter the type of surgery you are recovering from, I hope some of these products help make your recovery easier. If you're interested in learning more about my endometriosis surgery, check out my YouTube channel, where I share a more in-depth look at the process and recovery!
