Travel Essentials

Planning spring break or a vacation? I’ve got you covered on the best essentials to make your travels go smoothly. I have loved traveling this past year and these are some of my favorite items that I never travel without!

Luggage

I have had this luggage for YEARS now, and it is still just as impressive. It is on the pricier side but is an investment that is worth it. It is such high quality and still looks great after many trips to the airport. I also used it when moving in and out of my sorority house and it made moving and traveling back a forth a breeze. These go on sale a couple of times a year, I bought the whole 3 piece set all on sale to help with the price tag.

This Dagne Dover backpack is THE perfect carry-on. As a full-time college student + working full time on my laptop, traveling with a backpack is a necessity. It even comes with a slip on the back to attach it to your luggage, making it so easy to transport. This backpack holds so much for a carry-on, creating so much extra space. It has a special pocket just for electronics in the back!

This pink backpack is another great option for a carry-on or personal item. This backpack was made for travel and opens up completely for easy access and packing. This backpack is also waterproof, so you never have to worry about your stuff being ruined. It even has a USB port for charging on the go, and a sleeve for your laptop. This can hold SO. MANY. THINGS.

If you’re looking for a duffle bag, this one is amazing. It is the same brand and material as the black backpack and is so great for airports. This bag also has a sleeve for your suitcase, and it even has a pocket for your phone if your hands are full. I have the large size of this duffle, and I think it would be perfect for weekend or short travels as well. This bag holds so much and provides such a sleek and stylish look.

I LOVE this pink luggage. Delsey is my favorite brand when it comes to luggage. These are so easy to transport and carry, and I have never had an issue with damage or scratches. If you are looking to invest in nicer luggage, I cannot say enough good things about this set.

Packing

Y’all, I can not stress enough how much of a lifesaver packing cubes are! Not only do they save so much space when packing, but they help me keep all of my outfits organized. I love this set because it has such a variety of sizes, even including a toiletry bag and a laundry bag. This color is so cute and just makes packing more fun.

If you’re like me, you like to overpack. I can never decide what outfits to bring and always just end up packing all of them (it’s called options). These compression bags are great for getting even more space in my luggage. You can either roll the bags up or use a machine to suck the excess air out of the bag and seal your clothes. This pack also comes in a variety of sizes! This is perfect for traveling during the winter when you are packing thick coats.

These travel bottles are another travel essential that I could not do without. Everyone knows the airport is super strict on liquids, and I never want to risk having to throw away any of my products. This set has 16 pieces with a variety of shapes, so I can have all of my products with me wherever I am. There are even some smaller ones that are perfect for moisturizers or eye creams!

This makeup bag is amazing for travel. The dividers are removable and adjustable so you can customize them for your needs and your makeup products. There is also a pouch to hold all your brushes, so you aren’t digging through your bag to find what you need. This bag is sturdy on the outside, so I never have to worry about my makeup being crushed or something getting broken. Everything stays in its place and is easily accessible.

Favorite Items to Pack

This laundry bag is great for keeping clothes separated from items you haven’t worn or won’t wear. This bag expands to hold up to a week’s worth of laundry. It makes it so easy to unpack and wash items immediately, and if you’re on a long trip where laundry is necessary, this makes the process so much simpler. I love this because it may not make my life easier while traveling, but more so when I get back and need to do laundry!

Anyone else feel like the lighting in hotels is terrible? Same here! This mirror is great for traveling. It folds up, so I can slide it into a tote or carry-on with no problem. This mirror also comes with a LED light rim, so I can always see no matter where I am. This would also be great for rush or other events where you need to do quick touch-ups on the go.

I will never travel without these! These gummies are great for getting that must needed sleep on vacation. Especially when traveling to different time zones, these help my sleep schedule to adjust without jet lag. I don’t know about y’all, but I sometimes have a hard time falling asleep in hotels, and these help ease my anxiety to get some much needed rest.

This mask is great for feeling refreshed after those long flights. My skin often feels so dry and dull after a flight and this is the perfect pick-me-up. It is on the pricier side, but I think it is worth the investment to have this boost and glow after a full day of traveling. I also love using this the morning of my flights to keep my skin moisturized.

Airport Must-Haves

One of my fears when traveling is getting to check in and my bag weighing too much (been there, done that). This scale is perfect to have on hand to avoid this issue. I always check the night before, and never have to worry about it once I am at the airport. Small items like this just help ease some worry and make the whole process go smoother.

I personally love anything that helps me feel cozy when I am flying. This two-in-one pillow and blanket is amazing for getting the job done. It is great for a quick nap on the flight, or if I get cold and want to cozy up in the hotel. It fits in small spaces and is great for saving room, while also being accessible! When I get home, I toss the cover and the blanket in the laundry and it is ready to go for the next travel adventure.

This passport cover is what I used when traveling to Tulum, and it was perfect and girly. I got the pink (of course) and got so many compliments at the airport. It was a super cute way to make a statement, but also it stood out in my bag, which made it so easy to keep track of and to grab when needed. Tulum was my first time traveling outside of the country and a passport cover was such an exciting purchase for me!

Where are you traveling to next? I hope y’all got some inspiration for your next vacation or trip. High-quality and cute items just make the whole process easier and more exciting. Happy traveling!
