Eras Tour Outfit Ideas
If you're going to The Eras Tour, I hope you're ready for the time of your life! I was lucky enough to go to two concerts last year, and let me tell you, Taylor Swift has put everything into making these shows unforgettable. One of the best parts about attending the concert doesn't happen on stage but in the stands. Dressing up was one of my favorite parts of going to her concert (check out my Lover and Midnights outfits in my vlogs!), and it was amazing to see what Swiftie ideas everyone dressed up as. If you're looking for a concert outfit, I've put together one for every single era, so pick your favorite album and be ready to look fabulous!
Taylor Swift
If you want to make sure that Taylor Swift makes an appearance at The Eras Tour, you should definitely dress up as her debut album (if you know, you know). For this look, I based it on the album cover with the white dress and teal butterfly necklace. I'm also obsessed with wearing a cowboy hat and boots as a throwback to Taylor's country era! To finish off the look, I would use this turquoise eyeliner to draw the iconic 13 on your hand, and you will truly look like a day one Swiftie!
Fearless
If you are ready to wear your best dress, the Fearless era is for you! When I saw this gold, sparkly dress, I knew it was perfect for recreating one of the dresses Taylor wears during the set. Paired with these amazing gold boots, star earrings, and star necklace, you are going to SHINE in the stands while singing along to all of your favorite songs!
Speak Now
When the Speak Now era started, I couldn't believe how STUNNING Taylor's dress was! While we can't wear huge ballgowns in the stands, this lilac dress is the perfect solution. To keep with the whimsical theme of the era, I would pair the dress with these adorable butterfly hair clips and a butterfly necklace. To finish the look, wear these gorgeous pearl boots that will make everyone enchanted to meet you!
Red
I don't know about you, but I think the Red era is one of the most underrated albums! For this look, I went with the classic Taylor shirt and sparkly shorts that match what she wears on stage. Of course, the look wouldn't be complete without these heart eyeglasses and the iconic "22" hat. If you're looking for a comfortable shoe option, these red sneakers are perfect for keeping the outfit cute while keeping you comfy!
1989
As a New York City girlie, 1989 holds a special place in my heart, and what better way to pay homage to the album than to dress up as Taylor on the cover of her version! I found the rumored jeans Taylor wears on the cover and paired with a white tank, you'll look just like her! To drop subtle 1989 hints, I would wear this seagull barrette and paper airplane necklace. To keep it a classic Taylor look, I would finish the look with red lipstick and white Ked sneakers.
Reputation
My Reputation girlies rise! I feel like the rep era is one of the most fun albums to dress as, and I'm obsessed with this black sequin shirt and skirt combo I found to emulate her snaky vibes. To continue with the snake theme, I would pair the look with these KILLER black snake tights and an iconic gold snake bracelet. To finish it off, put on these black sparkly boots, and you'll be transported into your "can't come to the phone right now" era!
Lover
Lover holds such a special place in my heart, and it was the inspiration for my first concert outfit! When I saw this pink dress, I knew it was PERF for the Lover era! This look is based on "Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince," and I think this sash and heartbroken necklace are perfect for achieving the look! To finish it off, I would wear these amazing pearl sneakers to keep it girly but comfortable!
Folklore
If you're ready to embrace your Folklore fairy vibe, this is THE look for you. To me, this green dress is the Folklore Cabin in dress form, and I love the idea of wearing these simple flats to keep the focus on the dress. To put your own little easter eggs in the look, I would wear a moon bracelet and a Saturn necklace to reference "Seven." Lastly, every fairy is sparkly, so put on this glitter body spray and be transformed into the Folklore era!
Evermore
Honestly, this look is right off of The Eras Tour stage! Evermore has one of the coolest costumes, and this dress with the green cape looks like you belong in the "Willow" dance. To match the dancers, I thought a pearl necklace and bracelet would be a simpler version of their glowing orange crystal balls. Lastly, with these brown boots, you'll look like you're ready to explore the woods of the Evermore era!
Midnights
Meet me in your Midnights era! The release of the Midnights album was truly iconic, so I wanted to recreate one of Taylor's most iconic looks from the era. With this navy dress and faux fur shawl, everyone is going to know exactly what look you're going for. To finish the look, wear these ICONIC blue sparkly boots and a star headband to truly capture a midnight sky. Plus, add some shine to your look with this blinding Fenty highlighter!
The Tortured Poets Department
This list would not be complete without the latest era, The Tortured Poets Department, and what better way to dress like the era than when Taylor announced it! While Taylor wore a long white dress, I thought this shorter dress with a black choker was more friendly to the hotter climates of the arenas. To look even more tortured, wear a black bow and black boots, and you'll be down bad when she starts playing the TTPD set!
