Eloise is a city child, but what if she grew up and still lived at The Plaza? I've always wondered what Eloise would be like as a young adult, so I spent the day as her to find out! I was lucky enough to stay in the gorgeous Eloise Suite at The Plaza Hotel (check out my YouTube video!), and that inspired me to live a day like the infamous Plaza Princess. Come along with me as I spend the day living like the luckiest child in the city, all grown up!

Plaza Princess Playlist

To get into the headspace of Eloise, I created the Plaza Princess Playlist to listen to as I got ready for the day. Eloise gives me old-timey music vibes, so I modeled the playlist after the music they play in the lobby of The Plaza! Getting Ready for the Day

To start the morning, I got ready in the most GLAMOROUS bathroom I have ever seen in my life! I felt like a literal princess when I was in there. When it came to my make-up look, I wanted to go for something in the nude and pinky color palette. As Eloise didn't wear make-up in the books and movies, I went for what I thought she would look like as an adult. However, when it came time to pick out my outfit, it was pretty easy, as I knew Eloise would approve of any outfit in pink. And in true Eloise fashion, I had a TON of outfit options to choose from and change into throughout the day! (If you want to dress like me and Eloise, check out my LTK!)

Mornings in Manhattan

Morning Tea

A morning at The Plaza wouldn't be complete without a morning tea. Eloise once said her needs were few, and one of them was food, and the breakfast spread Will and I shared was delicious! From croissants to bacon, this was the perfect way to start the morning before all of my Eloise adventures truly began!

Strolls in Central Park

Spending time in Central Park to play and see the ducks was one of Eloise's favorite pastimes. I can imagine her as an adult taking a stroll to get her daily walk in and thinking of all the amazing clothes and shoes she would buy later in the day. Will and I had such gorgeous weather when we walked around, and it was so pretty to see The Plaza from the park!

Shopping on Fifth Avenue

No day would be complete as Eloise without going shopping on Fifth Avenue. Eloise was obsessed with Dior, so I made sure to go in and take a peak, although Tiffany's was one of my favorite stops of the day. I felt so fabulous walking and shopping in the stores, knowing that I was going back to The Plaza to spend the rest of my day. I can only imagine how incredible it would be to actually live in a suite!

Afternoons in the Suite

After a hard morning walking around Central Park and shopping, it was time to rest in our suite. The Eloise Suite was one of the most gorgeous places I have ever stayed in my life. From the pink walls to the pink bathroom to the pink everything, Will and I agreed that if he didn't live with me, this suite would be exactly what my apartment would look like. When you stay in the suite, you get an exclusive goody bag, champagne, and even a little treat tray! Nights at the Plaza

When it came time for dinner, it was a MUST that I ordered room service! The Plaza has an exclusive Eloise at The Plaza menu, and everything looked SO delicious. Will ordered a steak and shrimp cocktail, and I got the "here's what I like sliders" straight off the Eloise menu. As we ate, I felt like Eloise would be champagne girly, so Will and I popped a bottle to celebrate our stay. After dinner, I took the most relaxing bath in the most amazing bathtub! Eloise would for sure be into self-care, so I knew I had to have an amazing nighttime routine before I went to bed. After doing my skincare routine, I was exhausted, and it was time to go to bed!

Spending the day as Eloise has been one of my favorite days of the year! I love getting to choose an iconic New York girl and live a day like her, especially one who lives in The Plaza Hotel. I hope you enjoyed my day living as the city child all grown up. I know I had a FABULOUS time!
