Halloween Costumes in Your Closet
Happy (almost) Halloween! October has gone by in the blink of an eye, which meant it was easy to forget all about my Halloween costumes. So, I wanted to put together a lookbook for those last-minute costumes you most likely already have in your closet! However, I did my best to try and link products that will be able to get here before Halloween, so don't stress if you really LOVE one of these costumes and it isn’t in your closet!
Holly Golightly
Starting off with a classic, we have Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's. All you need for this outfit is a black dress, sunglasses, and your hair up in a tight bun! Audrey Hepburn in this outfit is one of the most iconic costumes in Hollywood, and it's easy to recreate with things you already have at home!
Kim Possible
Calling all the Disney fans, Kim Possible is THE perfect costume for a last-minute party. There is something so nostalgic about dressing up as Disney Channel characters, and this is the perfect chance to also do a couple's costume with your significant other as Ron Stoppable. Kim Possible is one of those costumes I would be ready to recreate for any last-minute Halloween plans where I didn't want to repeat what I'd already worn.
Barbie
We all know how I feel about the color pink, and because Barbie loves it too, she's such an easy costume to create! All you really need for this look is a pink dress and as many pink accessories as you can find! Barbie has been one of the most iconic characters to dress up as, and she truly is an easy look to replicate!
Britney Spears
Hollywood is back in its popstar era, so why not dress up as the popstar that ruled the 2000s: Britney Spears. The "...Baby One More Time" music video has spanned generations, and to recreate Britney's look, you just need a schoolgirl uniform. You can even modernize the look and use bows instead of pink pom poms in your hair if that's what you already own!
Tennis Player
Time to get sporty and channel your inner tennis player! Dressing up like you're ready for the tennis court is a simple costume that gets the message across of who you're trying to be. If you have everything but the tennis racket for the look, check out your local thrift store, or this Amazon tennis racket should make it just in time for Halloween!
Princess Belle
A Lauren Norris Halloween lookbook would not be complete without a Disney Princess. Belle is one of the easiest princesses to recreate because you need a yellow dress and red accessories to represent the bow! If you're looking for even more ways to look like Belle, pull any book off your bookshelf, and just like that, you're the gorgeous Belle.
Olivia Rodrigo
While the new Olivia Rodrigo tour outfits are a little too sparkly and innovative to be in my closet, her Sour look is still one of her most iconic (and easy) looks to date. With a pink tank top and a blue plaid skirt, all you really need are stickers to put ALL over your face, and people will know you are the popstar princess Olivia. Plus, if you're more into sour candy than chocolate, this look is perfect!
Wednesday Addams
If you want to dress up as one of the most cute but spooky characters, look no further than Wednesday Addams. With a simple black dress, two braids, and a scowl, everyone at the party will know you're part of the Addams family. As I think about recreating this costume, I wonder what a day in the life of Wednesday Addams would look like in New York City...
Mia Thermapolis
For my solo costume lookbook, I suggested dressing up as Mia Thermopolis in her princess era, but her schoolgirl persona is also iconic. Just like the Britney Spears costume, you need a button-down shirt, a plaid skirt, and some knee-high socks to replicate the look. If you really want to go all out, get a hat like this one to recreate the iconic scene of letting her beautiful new hair down!
Betty Boop
If you're ready to be in your red-girl era, Betty Boop has got you covered! With a red dress and gold accessories, this costume is perfect for the gold girlies who already have all their gold jewelry on lockdown. While the garter is an extra touch, the attitude of Betty Boop is really what will sell your costume to everyone else!
With Halloween only a week away, I can't wait to see all the costumes you guys wear! If you're looking for more inspiration, check out all my lookbooks below!
