Valentine’s Day Decorations
Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays to decorate because all the pinks match the aesthetic of my apartment so well! I have been searching for the cutest and most aesthetic decorations I could find and compiled them in this blog post. From plates to blankets, this list has got you covered to incorporate the holiday into every aspect of your home!
Heart Plates
While Will and I don't have a dining room right now, I love it when people have their tables set to match the season, and these heart plates would look adorable! These are perfect for any parties you'll be throwing during the month, and I feel like you could use these any time of the year if it matches your vibe! The plates are currently sold out in pink, but I still adore the white.
Heart Pillows
Pillows are one of my favorite ways to add subtle touches of decor to the apartment. I love that these heart pillows come in different colors, so you can pick which one matches the best with your home. I could totally see myself mixing and matching them to add a little bit of variety to our couch or bed!
Snoopy Mug
If there is one thing I love in this world, it's a mug! Whether I drink tea or coffee in the morning, I am obsessed with cutie mugs that make me start my morning with a smile. When I saw this Snoopy Valentine's Day mug, my heart literally hurt from how cute it was, and once again, I feel like you could use this all year round if you wanted to!
Target Birds
I know so many people are obsessed with the Target birds, but I get it. I mean, look how adorable these pink and red birds are! When it comes to decorating, I feel like it is hard to find cute decor to set on tables or dressers, but these little birds look adorable when scattered throughout your house and don't take up too much room!
Valentine’s Day Candle
When I decorate for the holidays, I am all about setting the vibe, and that includes a signature scent. There are SO many different holiday candles to choose from, but I find many of them are too sweet-smelling for my taste. So, when I found this sugared watermelon candle, I knew it was the perfect one for me!
Disco Heart
Calling all of my fellow Swifties! When I saw this disco heart, all I could think about was "Mirrorball." This type of decoration is perfect if you want to decorate for the holiday more subtly with more neutral colors than pink and red. I would totally hang this near my balcony so when the sun hit it, the light would shine all over my living room!
Tea Towels
In my current apartment, I have a smaller kitchen, which means there isn't a lot of counter space to spare for decorations. So, when I saw these tea towels I could hang from my stove, I knew they were perfect. While I would never use these to actually clean up spills or dry dishes, they're a nice way to bring Valentine's Day into the kitchen!
Cupid Heart Glasses
I have been collecting these glass Anthropologie glasses since they released ones with squirrels on them. I've been hooked ever since, and I try to get my hands on as many seasonal ones as I can. They are some of my favorite glasses for iced coffee or smoothies, and I LOVE the cute little wings on the hearts!
Valentine’s Day Mice
If you know me, you know I love a little woodland creature. Whether it's a squirrel or the subway rats, I am always on the hunt to see them. So, when I saw these Valentine's Day mice, I knew I had to have them. These mice are literally me and Will!
Heart Doormat
I feel like it is so easy to forget that you can decorate outside your house and apartment, too! I am obsessed with changing my doormats to match the season, and I love this heart one because you can leave it up for the entirety of February because it's not Valentine's Day specific. I might even use this for months to come!
Heart Blankets
Not all decorations are just for show; some help you get cozy! With the winter weather not stopping, I need Valentine's Day blankets like these to keep me warm and match the changing season. Target always has the best throw blankets that keep me toasty while looking adorable thrown on the couch!
Be Mine Banner
In my apartment, I have a TV stand that I love to hang things from depending on the holiday, and when I saw this banner, I knew it was the perfect fit. Once again, I feel like it is a perfect way to always have your house ready for any Galentine's or Valentine's Day celebrations that might pop up!
Writing this blog has made me SO excited to see how all my Valentine's Day decorations are going to look in the apartment! I hope this list helped you find some new decorations, and stay tuned for more Valentine's Day content this week!
