10 Apartment Finds I Don't Regret Buying
After living in my apartment for a year and a half, I quickly found out what items were worth the purchase! Here is my list of the top 10 things I don't regret buying for my apartment.
I love keeping these affirmation cards on my desk to help me start the day on a positive note! I always looked forward to seeing what quote my day would hold. After I was done with the affirmations, I would give them to friends or use them for vision boards. I always get questions on these when I show them in my videos and this pack by far is my favorite one! They come in a small box to keep them tidy on your desk.
The bedside decanter isn't something that everyone thinks about, however not having to get up in the middle of the night just to get a drink of water is one of the simple life game changers. It's one of those things you don't realize that you need until you have it.
3. Label Maker
Having a label maker for my apartment has been the purchase that helps me stay organized and know where everything is. I'm able to use it for files in my office and label other organizational systems throughout my apartment. I keep a box full of important documents and letters I need to hold on to and this was perfect and saved so much time when I was putting everything together. It is small enough where you can store it in your office drawer so it’s not taking up too much space!
4. Shower Head
Need to upgrade your bathroom to feel more like a spa? This showerhead is the perfect item to do that. With the rainfall feel of the shower head, it is sure to feel like you just checked into a 5-star hotel. This showerhead comes in two different sizes with a detachable handle!
5. Robot Vacuum
There are so many robot vacuums on the market and trying to find one that is the best can be hard. The one that has been doing a great job and is also less expensive compared to some of the bigger named ones on the market. I highly recommend purchasing a robot vacuum if you have pets. Elle sheds so much, so being able to set this on a timer through an app to keep my floors clean is so convenient!
The next couple of items are definitely splurge items. However, after having them for a while I can say that they are totally worth the price.
6. Hatch Sound Machine and Alarm
If you buy anything from this post, let it be this! I HATE waking up in the mornings, but this alarm clock gradually wakes me up with the custom settings that I choose. Not only does this work as an alarm clock, but this also helps me stick to a night-time routine too (hello rain noises!). There are definitely more simple alarm clocks but with a controllable app, this one is worth the splurge. This also doesn’t look like your typical alarm clock which I love so it doesn’t mess with my aesthetic in my room!
7. Toaster
When it comes to shopping for my apartment, I knew that I wanted quality appliances that would last me for a long time. Having a toaster that works well but also looks cute was something that was also a bonus when finding appliances. This toaster makes sure my toast comes out perfect every time and comes in multiple color choices.
8. Ice Maker
An ice maker isn’t exactly what everyone thinks about buying when they are looking for things for their kitchen, however, I can say that it is a splurge I'm so glad I made! The nugget ice maker has been going around for a couple of years and really makes every drink feel special. Whether it's making an iced coffee at home or just adding it to water. I feel like it is just something that elevates your apartment. It also is a crowd favorite when hosting people! I keep this out on my kitchen counter and definitely got spoiled with it. All drinks just taste better with nugget ice in my opinion.
Living in an apartment, space can often be an issue. However, I didn't want to compromise my workout routine because of that. I posted this on TikTok and it went viral (everyone sold it out!). It is finally back in stock and folds up where you can store it under your couch or bed. Last year I made a goal that I wanted to move my body every day and keeping this little treadmill in my apartment helped hold me accountable. Even if it was too cold, too hot, storming or I just didn’t feel like leaving my house, I could workout from the luxury of my own home. Also, it’s a plus because I could watch Dance Moms or scroll through TikTok while working out!
If you’re wanting something even more compact, this fits perfectly under a desk! To me, this is a little easier to handle if you have a super tight space. I love using this while on my computer so I am getting steps in while being productive!
