Solo Halloween Costumes
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because you get to dress up! We all know how much I love shopping and clothes, so any opportunity to put together a cute outfit is one I will take advantage of. While I will be doing multiple costume idea blog posts this month, I thought it was best to start with adorable solo costumes that will make you the "it girl" of Halloween!
Eloise at The Plaza
If you've been keeping up with my YouTube channel this year, you'll know I spent an entire day as Eloise from Eloise at The Plaza! I had one of THE best days ever because who wouldn't want to dress up and act like a city child? From the big pink bow to the plush pug, everyone will surely know you are the Princess of The Plaza!
Princess Rapunzel
When it comes to Disney princesses, Rapunzel is clearly the best! From her carefree spirit to her adorable sidekick, she is my favorite princess by far. Dressing up as Rapunzel would be such a magical costume, and I am obsessed with the idea of carrying around a mini frying pan!
Marie Antoinette
If you've been anywhere on social media this year, you will know how ICONIC bows have been. So, who better to dress up as than the queen of pink and bows herself, Marie Antoinette! I literally gasped when I found this dress online, and I can totally see myself wearing this costume and feeling regal and girly all at the same time!
Mia Thermopolis
This costume is SO fitting, as they just announced they are recording The Princess Diaries 3! These movies are a staple of my childhood, and Mia Thermopolis is such an iconic character to dress up as. Don't forget to blast "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson in your headphones all night to truly replicate her princess energy!
Elle Woods
This would not be a Lauren Norris costume lookbook without Elle Woods. I wore a similar costume to this when I was in college, and I got so many compliments that I knew I had to bring it back. Elle in her bunny costume may not have been taken seriously, but you will seriously have mastered Halloween if you wear this costume!
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader
One of the most iconic shows to come out this year was centered around the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. I could not scroll on TikTok without the song "Thunderstruck" blasting, and trust me, I wanted to try and learn their routine, too. To me, this costume feels like such an easy way to incorporate pop culture into your look in a fun and gorgeous way!
Victoria’s Secret Angel
For the first time in six years, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is back, and dressing up as an Angel is the perfect way to celebrate! I also lived like a VS Angel for a day this year, and I felt so girly and nostalgic while doing it. This is a super easy costume, especially if you already own Victoria's Secret clothes!
Veruca Salt
If you know me, you know I am OBSESSED with squirrels. So, while making this lookbook, I knew I needed to include a costume that incorporated squirrels in some way. Veruca Salt may not have had the best experience with squirrels, but I know that if I were her, they would have loved me.
Regina George
Mean Girls is such a timeless film that will never go out of style, and Regina George is the obvious choice to dress up as. Regina was amazing at setting trends, so why not wear her most iconic outfit of the film, where she makes holes in her shirt a trend? All this look needs is a pair of scissors, and voila, you've turned into one of The Plastics.
Sandy from Grease
The inner theater kid in me was screaming when I thought to include Sandy from Grease in this lookbook. While an all-black look is something I wouldn't wear, Halloween is all about transforming into someone else and trying new styles. Plus, with these prop cigarettes, I'll truly feel like I'm back onstage performing "We Go Together."
Halloween is the perfect time to experiment with your look and dress up in things you normally never would. I hope you find some inspiration in this lookbook as you prepare for spooky season!
