My 27th Birthday Recap

It's my birthday! As someone who loves any reason to dress up, I see my birthday as the perfect opportunity to put on my favorite dress and party. Even though my birthday plans this year didn’t go as expected, I still had an amazing time in the city and wanted to share my birthday week shenanigans!

Birthday Photoshoot

The first thing I did to celebrate my birthday was take photos to document the occasion! Ever since I dyed my hair, I’ve needed new branding pictures, so my birthday was the perfect excuse to dress up and finally get them done. Shelly did such an amazing job, and we also got some Valentine’s Day pictures of Will and me!

Birthday Celebrations

Flying Home to Alabama…

This was the point in my birthday week when things started to unravel. Originally, I was planning to fly to Alabama and celebrate with my friends and family after judging a pageant in Atlanta. However, due to all the ice in the South, my flight was canceled, and instead of partying, I spent over ten hours at the airport. I was upset that I wasn’t able to see everyone back home, but it only made me more excited to plan another trip to see them soon!

Birthday Morning!

After the airport debacle, it was my actual birthday! Even though I decided to have a chill day at home and celebrate the day after because it was Will’s day off, the day still started beautifully with Lemon and Elle playing around—they are truly the cutest cats in the world. Even though I was staying home to work, I decided to get ready for the day anyway. There’s nothing like making yourself feel glamorous on your special day, and I looked all dolled up for Lemon and Elle.

Birthday Celebrations

Later, I went to Starbucks to get my birthday drink, and my talent manager surprised me with a little cake! The cake came in a box that had fake butterflies fly out, and it was hilarious. I recommend checking out my birthday vlog to see it happen—I promise it’s worth it. For the rest of the day, I decided to film videos and edit content until Will came home. It was very relaxing and cozy considering it was freezing outside!

Celebrating with Will

When Will came home, he surprised me with more presents! Will knows I love to be cozy when I sleep, so he got me a pink silk pillowcase and a matching silk bonnet. Afterward, we ended the day with dinner at a new Mexican restaurant—it was delicious! We finished the night with my favorite birthday tradition: watching Tangled.

Birthday Celebration Day 2!

It was now time to really celebrate my birthday! Even though it felt like twenty degrees outside, I wore this stunning dress I got from LoveShackFancy. This was supposed to be my birthday outfit for my party in Alabama, but it still deserved its moment, no matter the weather. The first thing Will and I did was get champagne at The Plaza, which is always such a treat! The Plaza is such a vibe and is perfect for making any day feel extra special!

Fifth Avenue Window Shopping

After going home and changing into a warmer outfit, Will and I decided to window shop on Fifth Avenue. We stopped at the Starbucks Reserve for delicious espresso martinis to give us an energy boost. Fifth Avenue is full of some of my favorite shops to explore, and I was in love with a bow fanny pack at Louis Vuitton! We also stopped at Tiffany & Co., and everything in that store went straight onto my wishlist. To end the night, we had dinner at Burger & Lobster, which was the perfect finale to my birthday celebration.

Every year, I get emotional on my birthday because I’m so thankful! You all make my life so special, and I’m so grateful I get to share these special days with you!
